  1. Hi, I have an AVI file when opened in VirtualDub154 it displayed this error about sound skew:
    {VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 20066ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (bitrate: 94.9 +7.2kbps)}

    What's the best way to fix this sound skew? With what program?? And what are the commands/steps with this program??? Thanks.

    I know that Goldwave would separate the Avi and sound. But how do I fixed the wav sound file skewed of up to 20066ms????

    You wont need to fix the sound if you extract it as wav as long as there is no bad frames,just proceed and encode.
