    Hi

I have 2 new DVD players, and PS2 player. They all have some problems when I watch DVD movie. I would like to get some advice in here. Thanks for any help.

When I watch the rental DVD movie, they skipping during the movie player, picture freeze , skipping chapters as in going forward and back……

The DVD movie doesn’t skip when I return back to the Video Store? It play fine in the video store DVD player. The owner of the video store told me many DVD player in the market are very sensitive, nothing they can do… what do you think is wrong with it? Why DVD skip so easily?

    Thanks for you input.

  2. probably dirty or scratched dvd's. Since they are rented try using some GIANT BLUE LETTERS to clean them.[

  3. if its an old dvd player and the dvds are new releases prob the software in the dvd player...check for a patch for your player from the manufacturers website....usually in bin format ...burn the cd and follow the instructions
btw using big blue letters wont fix the problem.....green possibly but never blue

possibly...a bad laser on the player...giving poor response or it's old.."yes they do degrade"

or the player is too hot , i've notice that this can cause problems "or degrade"..probably with the laser

    or poor quality media

If the rental place is Block Buster then likely your player is having problems with the label like things they use for security reasons. They've caused mine to skip before. Its why I will no longer rent from them.
