If you want this to be scientific then you need to be a little more specific.
for example:
DVD-ROM or + or -,
R or RW.
Labels or not,
Blank or full,
What height?
Are flips allowed?
Carpet, wood, concrete, ceramic or other floors.
Do bounces count?
Do you have to redo leaners. 8) -
Try this :
1.Tape a piece of buttered toast to the back of a cat.
2.Throw cat off roof.
Observe : Cat / toast will slowly rotate inches above the ground but not touch it. !

Man, what suckers
Willtgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have. -
My cat won't stay still long enough to strap the toast on properly, any suggestions?

It depends on whether the ink is still wet or not. If the ink is still wet, it will most certainly fall on the ink side just to mess up the artwork
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -

Way too many variables to make any sort of accurate prediction as to which side will land up

Heads or Tails.........pointless!
To see, one only has to look.
To hear, one only has to listen. -
I conducted my own experiments to test this theory and after 50 drops each one landed written side down. 8)
Just to be sure I changed one condition of the experiment and again every DVD landed written side down. That's 50 out of 50. 8)
So I changed only one parameter and repeated both trials and to my amazement, 50 out of 50 landed written side up in both cases.
Can anyone explain this?

This is serious stuff. I think your on to something
