  1. Hello,

I have an avi movie wich causes me a lot of trouble when I put it in the TMPGenc to make two streams to use in the IfoEdit. This trouble is: that TMPGenc import the video file but doesn't import the audio file.

I have had a same problem earlier wich I solved using VirtualDub. When I put that file in I got a message about VBR sound and that the program would fix that. But in this case VirtualDub doesn't react and normally import the file.

I have tried an other option to get a wav file from the movie (using avi to wav) and put this in TEMPGenc but this didn't work too. Also a single generated mpg2 file and (this) wav file together in the Ifoedit gave me after burning a movie without sound.

Who can help me out solving this matter? It seems to me that with all the newer videocompressors like Xvid this problem increases.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Check this for ac3 conversion which your audio might be.

  3. Thanks for your reply. I checked it out but it didn't solve the problem so far.

  4. Use AVICodec to see what kind of audio is on the AVI.
