    how can i stop DVD decrypter saving a decrypted DVD as a roxio easy cd/dvd creator file, i want it to save it just as vob files etc so i can burn with RNmax4.5 anyone any ideas

    Use the program in 'File' mode. Choose them, and this will decode and extract all the .vob, .bup, and .ifo files. You can then burn with any burning software (nero, etc).

    Are you sure you just don't have the .vob files associated with Roxio?

    agree with shelby.
    sounds like file association.

    right-click on one of the vob files and choose open with...
    then click on choose program
    select a program you want windows to open the file with, such ad powerdvd
    check the box that says always open with selected program
    hit ok

    You probably have the STUPID windows default "hide file extensions"
    still set.
