VIDEO_TS folder to SVCD

Hi!

I am having serious difficulties converting a VIDEO_TS folder created by DVDBackup from an original DVD to the quick preset SVCD. As soon as I hit "Start" in ffmpegX the Program opens a little window telling me "Chosing mplayer to decode in order to use VIDEO_TS as the input file." Strange thing, since I clicked that option anyway! And then the whole thing just stalls. It stays like that till I forcefully quit ffmpegX. The proces is not even shown in the Process Progress Window of ffmpegX. When I open the Apple Console window (system.log on Panther) it shows this:

I just got it to start the transcoding process by checking the option "Open Terminal Window" in the "Tools" section...
