  1. when i choose to simulate a burn in nero 6.3.0.2 it runs a simulation but actually does a burn and not a test. a message pops up that says simulation successful but when i go to burn, nero has already burned the video on the simulation run. is this a bug or what can i do to fix this problem

I'm having the identical problem. No Pun Intended but doesn't it just "Burn" you.

I was testing + and - R's at various speeds and made 6 coasters before I knew it. I aborted each simulation after I felt sure it was going to pass rather then sit through the entire process.

is cancelling a simulation right before it ends going to be like cancelling a burn right before it ends? since its not really simulating, will canceling it cause the burn (simulation) to fail?

No it's not. The simulation isn't supposed to write anything to the disc. The burn does and when cancelled what has been burned remains.

I found that I had a faulty power supply that was intermittently turning off but almost immediately back on. I wonder if this screwed something up. i would assume that the laser whether burning or simulating needs a decently regulated power supply.

If I find out anything more I'll be sure and let you know. Right now I'm a little hesitant to try any additional simulations just to see what happens.

    LOL - Ted
