Pioneer104 crapped out, gotta DRU510A..But now another issue

Hey, so after almost 2yrs my Pioneer104 bit the dust. I was getting communication errors from Nero and errors in RNM. I have burned a ton of movies and games, and never changed any settings from when i had origionally installed it. I even reformatted my HD and still a no go. So i came to the "genius" conclusion that its done. LoL

Anyways, i got the Sony DRU510a now and have only burned one movie so far and everything was cool. Ok now after my installation of the DRU510a, my Digital Research CDRW is not being read by Windows XP? It lights up, but wont read cds and is not listed in my computer. It is however listed in my device manager. I have the DRU510a as master and DR-CDRW on slave and they're on the same IDE channel. This was my set up for 2yrs with my Pioneer104 as well.

I know this isn't the right place to ask this either, but after all this....My secondary HD is not being read either by XP? Its in my BIOS and device manager though just the like the DR-CDRW. I have a 80gig WD as master and 40gig WD set as slave, these also are sharing their own IDE channel.

P.S. Sorry to write so much on my first post back here in a while, but im stumped over here.
