Sorry if this is a dumb question but if I plan on getting a dvd burner should I still buy vcd software since all I really want to do is make a slide presentation with music. Or will a dvd burner do that? Thanks

A dvd burner is for burning anything you desire, but why vcds when dvd is superior format wise. And finally most burners come with software included nero/veritas etc it depends on your choice..

Buy the DVD burner. Why not? It'll still make great VideoCDs and such. And with the prices dropping like Howard Dean's approval ratings
you really can't go wrong.
