Hi
I was about to save my *.mpg file to *.avi when an error message appears saying that the sound in the 00:45 sec *blabla* (can't remember).. anyway, I played the *.mpg file and in the 00:45th second there really is a enormous *BIP* in the sound. My question is:
Is there any program that can make me "delete" the sound from 00:44 to 00:46 or so? If yes, wich one and how to do it.. please.
ty,
Tiago Cabaço.

Load the MPEG file into Gold Wave. Select View-->All. Move the mouse pointer over the 45 second mark ans left click. Move over the 46 second mark and right click. This leave only the area in question highlighted. Select Effects-->Volume-->Change. Enter Zero. Save as a wave file.
Open Virtual Dub. Load the MPEG file. Select Audio WAV audio and your new wave file. Now your video has audio without the beep.Hello.
