    Hi!
    I am going to capture video from my Sony D8 cam. using
    Scenalyzer. Witch format DV1 or DV2 do I have to chose later to convert it to Pal DVD. What is the difference?

    Hi Archie1,

    This links to the glossary (initial link: top left of the page, in blue) description of DV and goes into types 1 & 2. I've read it and sort of understand it, so good luck. Have a search in the forums - you might find more info.

    I'd say capture to DV2 as it seems (from what I've seen on this site) that this type of DV is easier to work with (like in TMPGEnc I think).
