vcd to dvdr

i've been doing dvd-vcd convrsion for quite a while now but have got me a dvdburner so i consider myself a newbie. what i'm stuck on is this: how do i back up my vcd's onto a dvdr? i tried with nero but it said i couldn't write this type of file to this media. thanx in advance

Rip the vcds with Isobuster high-light the Mpegav an in the right hand window high-light the film file (if it was made with Nero it will prob be calld somthing like avseqo1.dat) right click on it and goto extract but filter onlym2f2mpg frames
an save the file were ever you want it but remeber when renaming it to add the .mpg file prefix do the same with the second disk then fire up tmpge and goto mpge tools goto merge & cut load in your two file you will then get one mpge file you can then use TMPGE DVD to maske a dvd ready file(by the way you can get a couple of films onto the one dvd this way)
