Capturing videotape concerts. Using "DVD Program Stream". Always run into sync problems when authoring with TMPGENC DVD Author or DVD-Lab. No problems with Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 for authoring. (Does not have the menu options/styles I prefer)>
I've read all kinds of stuff about timestamps, GOP fixers etc.
Is there a way to get TMPGENC DVD Author to work with captured files from the PVR 250?
Anyone??

"Understanding Is A Three Edged Sword"

I've been trying to figure this out for a week (with the PVR-250 and Author) and found out that it's not Author nor is it the PVR-250, it's the source. I have one tape that's really bad and it consistiently leads to lost audio synch. If I use another source or the same tape but without the really bad parts, I get DVDs with perfect synch. Are you trying to use a buggy tape?

Saw your posts the other day > you have the same problems I've been having. The tapes in question are not buggy > pre recorded tapes. Using JVC SVHS vcr's to import the video. Been banging my head against a wall trying to figure this out.
Any definitive answers will be GREATLY appreciated!!
Using the following to capture:
"Program stream"
720x480
