Hi there,
I have a question regarding compatability with the above two apps. I have a AVI file which I am running through TMPGEnc to produce a PAL DVD MPEG2 file. This is just based on the standard DVDPAL template that comes with TMPGEnc+. When I create the MPEG2 and try and put it in DVDIt PE, I get an error message saying "Each GOP must be preceeded by a sequence header". I understand what all this means, but the thing is I have told TMPGEnc to output 1 sequence header per GOP... Does anyone know what's going on? I realise this question has been asked before (i have found one or 2 posts on it in various places), but have yet to find an answerThe only soulition I have found so far is to use either a different encoder (MainConcept works ok, as does bbMPEG), or different DVD authoring software (everything else seems to accept the MPEG, though they may be sneakaly reencoding it). The thing is I have paied for both these bits of software... Plus, TMPGEnc produces the best results with this perticular AVI file.
Any help much appricated.
Thanks
Simon
