Hey, when I try and capture video from my TV i notice that when there is moderate movement there seems to be some blurring on the objects.. not a huge amount, but noticeable on the eyes.
I've tried to burn it to a DVD and play it in a standalone DVD player as well as transfer to a TV via TV OUT but the blurring remains..
Specs:
ATI Multimedia Center 8.1
ATI All in Wonder Pro
Geforce 4 TI 4200
256 RAM
2.0Ghz.
Win XP
Capture Settings:
MPEG2-DVD
Interlaced
Constant Bit Rate of 4.0 b/sec
Audio 48 16 bit Stereo 192kbps MP2
Resolution 352x480
NTSC 525
P Frames & B Frames = 2 Closed off
Motion Estimation Quality = 98
If anyone can pinpoint a problem as to where I am going wrong I would appreciate it... this slight blurring problem is quite annoying..
P.S. besides the blurring the video quality is great!! blurring is only prob.

Had a similar problem capping to mpeg2 using my TV Tuner card. Finally decided to cap to .avi.
Unbelieveable diference. Still not perfect...but oh so close. Of course it's subjective. Everyone tolerates a different level. Course you pay the price by having to encode.
