I'm sure it's been answered before, but it's near impossible to find the answer in the haystack of search results I get:
Here's the list of files a have from a DVD rip.
When I tested VTS_04_0.VOB , it is a movie menu. All the other VOBs are the movie itself. Do I need to make an IFO file to author this DVD for playback in a standard player using IfoEdit , or could I just dump everything into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn it?

You must have all the standard files a DVD is expecting. You must have IFO/VOB/BUP.
