Cant capture high than 320x240

I have the ati tv wonder pro. Ive been playin around for a couple weeks and have givin up hope unless someone can help. First off mmc wont work for the tv. Never has. Both the software that came with the card and the latest from ati. Always same error, cant intialize video, then press ok to run tests and it says i have no direct x, no wdm, or inf files for this card. So i found windvr works for tv, thats good. But i have yet to find any software that will let me capture higher than 320x240. Not that I cant with the software, they wont. Always some error along the lines of failed to capture. Im talkin vdub,ulead,pinnacle,roxio,virtual vcr. Cant do it with tv shows nor the analog stuff from my hi-8 which is what i want to do the most. So is this normal,or am I missing something, or is this card a peice of crap. Im new at this captureing bussiness, and im not having fun so far. So if someone knows anything can ya help me out. Thx in advance. If ya need more info just yell 8)

Sounds to me like a bad card. Has it ever worked right?

sounds like some kind of installation issue. Or drivers maybe? Have you tried this driver? btwincap.sourceforge.net

ive tried it it dosnt support my tuner i guess, ive tried lots of things.

I think lordsmurf is big into ATI cards. You may want to check his site out....
