  1. I'm trying to compress a dvd and after I tell shrink to 'open dvd', it does, and shows the files, but the analysis button is greyed out. Why is that?

  2. What version of Shrink are you using and are you doing a full backup or reauthor?

  3. Shrink 3.0 beta 5.

I'm putting in the dvd, like I always do, and it usually analyzes the disc for two minutes, then lets me hit the 'analysis' button for a full analysis. I have no problems with one movie I have, as the 'analysis' button is operational, but with T3 dvd, I put the movie in, it shows the files right away without analyzing anything, and the 'analysis' button is greyed out.

  5. Hi all.

Spatzi, had you already analysed this disc?
If yes, you do not need to analyse it again, as DVD Shrink saves the analysis results.
If no, do as Pop's suggested and clear the analysis files folder:
    "C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\DVD Shrink 3.0"
You might want to backup its content first though, as the other analysis files might save you time at a later date.
