DVD-r's only burn halfway

Every since I reformated almost all of my dvd's burn halfway. Thats not the only problem. Instant copy gets errors all the time. This also happens with DVDxcopy express. Anyone have any ideas as to what the hell is wrong?

I`M NOT SURE OF WHAT SYSTEM YOU HAVE BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE SOFTWARE CONFLICTS THERE IS A LIST OF PROGRAMS YOU HAVE TO REMOVE OR DISABLE FOR DVD X COPY TO WORK
I HAD A MINOR PROBLEM WITH DVD X COPY PLATINUM WHEN I FORMATTED MY PC

I have a Athalon 1700xp with 3 hard drives. Geforce 4 4200 ti video card. I have a sony burner. It always worked great until I reformated. Now nothing works when it comes to burning dvd's. I would say it works 1 out of 5 burns and I dont do anything different.

as my previous response said check convlicting software with the link i gave you if you are running antivirus software alot of burning programs dont like this as your virus software checks for virus during the burn procees and causes errors when your writer is trying to perform a writing disc mode
so use the link i supply
because if you have any programs like listed below this will cause the problems
