I'm considering developing an open source video playing software for major operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac) during the next coming holiday.
The player software must support any file format (including quicktime, RealMedia, and others) if the codecs is installed on the computer.
I planned to use Helix DNA Client playback engine but it does not support QuickTime. So, does anybody have any suggestions? Or, can I use Helix DNA Client together with other playback engine / Multimedia Framework?
