I have looked around a bit and have been unable to find info on this so hopefully someone has some ideas.
I have some old TV shows in mpg format on my HD and I am trying to burn them to DVD so that I can watch them on my TV instead of my computer. Most of them convert and burn successfully but there are about 2 or 3 that won't.
After playing around a bit, I noticed that they have a couple of "hiccups" in the video and confirmed that this is where the conversion process stops for my newDVDPlus 5 software (same one I used for the other ones that were successful). I have also tried to use Tmpgenc (will show the complete mpg in the frames preview but when played on the computer, only the parts leading up to the "hiccup" are actually converted) and Nero Vision Express 2 (goes to completion without complaint but will not play on DVD).
My question is: is there an easy way and/or tool to fix these mpg files without having to go and start chopping out frames?
cheers![]()
