I need some help,
I have backed up my copy of A Bridge to Far and have a weird problem. I used DVD Shrink and everything went OK until I play the backup on my standalone the forced subs come on when the they should but don't go back off again. I can switch them off using the handset but everytime a forced sub is used they stay on. If I play the backup in PowerDVD it acts correctly. It's driving me mad. Help please.

thanks for the reply, I've already looked that thread over and read over the @2cool guide. None of these seem to explain what is happening. My subtitle setting on my standalone is default. If i disable subs coming on will the force subs still work ? I reckon something is being missed by my standalone. I have the same problem with my backup of the Two Towers. Everything is OK till the Elvish is spoken and then the englsih subtitle syay on when the Elvish dialogue is over.
Will I need to edit the subtitle stream and remove the other subs and leave only the forced ? How the hell do I do such a thing ?
Thanks Again,
