I received a laptop with WinME on it. I quickly formatted it and installed Win2k. The laptop had DVD Player software installed since it came with an internal DVD ROM. But I cannot seem to find any software that will play DVD's on it for free. If it helps I am using a HP Pavilion N5350
I have installed software like RealPlayer and tried to use the DVD Plugin but it says "Requires a DVD Decoder driver" or something.
ANy Ideas?

Go to the Tools section at left and look under "Video Players", and see if one suits. I looked, and the VideoLan player looks promising.

The latest version of Media Player Classic should be able to do it just fine. It includes a DVD parser, MPEG-2 encoder, and AC3 decoder.
Just insert a disc and goto "File / Open DVD" -
