After seeing all of the "somewhat negative" remarks about the different versions of the latest incarnation of DVD Shrink in the past week or so......I want to personally thank Mr. Shrink for a totally awesome product....AGAIN. I was hooked on 2.3 for the longest time....not liking the newer "double window" version very much. But now....3.1 is a work of art....THANK YOU.
I am now happily making a compilation DVD....and from DVD's created in my Philips DVDR 985 no less. A feat that would bring 2.3 to it's knees.

Thank You again Mr. Shrink....your creation is GENUIS in my opinion.

    Sincerely
    Hech54

  4. I agree....in my view the latest incarnation of Shrink is the best of the line. It's keeping almost all the other related applications consigned to the "not used" folder.

In reality, mastering DVDShrink in conjunction with IFOEdit means almost any dvd back-up is possible....most easily so.

and you can't argue with the combined price of the 2.

  7. Excellent product!! I don't think I've had a problem with any version. New versions with "bug fixes" are just gravy as far as I'm concerend!

    (Mmmmm, gravy!)

i've had problems with 3.0b5 where it won't recognise files from TMPGENc DVD Author. workaround each time is to use 2.3 and backup uncompressed, then into 3.0b5. works

Not only does it not come off in one piece....it takes about 10 minutes and many different pairs of scissors/knives/sharp objects to even get it to start peeling off!
