I'm trying to rip my DVD's into one big file, as opposed to breaking them up into 1GB files.

I want to do this so I can FTP the ripped DVD to my Xbox and watch the movie, instead of playing every .vob.

I've tried using DVD Decrypter and Smart Ripper, went to settings and turned file splitting off, but no luck. What's going on?

    Thanks.

  2. what is your OS, what I am getting at is does it have the FAT32 limit issue?

I have done this with decrypter and changed in options the file split from the default 1 gig to none. Works just fine.

Open up My Computer and right click the hard drive you plan to rip the DVD to and select Properties. Is the drive FAT32 or NTFS?. If it's NTFS follow the advice given above. If it's FAT32 you probably can't create one big VOB because the drive's file system(FAT32) can't create a single file larger than 4gb.
