Hey,
I use nero 6.3.0.2 and made a dvd video from the .vob's and .ifo's etc, and the original default label is "NEW" i changed it to "BAISE_MOI" because i was told its ok to do so by a tutorial. Burned it just normally, then when it came out it had "rings" on it, like unburned parts in the dvd, i could tell by the color.
Tried to play in powerdvd, said it was region 2 then locked up. Dvddecryptor said there was no region coding..So i used ANYDVD to run it with the region code, and it locked up and wouldnt load at all, crashed powerdvd. Tried to run it in windvd, it started ok, but then locked up about 1/4 through and wouldnt work.
I did a reburn without changing the volume label and now all is good. I've narrowed it to that since i made a cdr a while back and did the same thing and got the same defective burn. It could have been that i ran out of memory but nero didnt say the burn failed (i was running newsbin pro at the same time of this bad burn)
My question is why does it mess up when you change the volume label? If my memory had puked i would have been told by nero, its very good at giving me warnings.
