Error running Adaptec Easy Cd Creator

hello all,

I have just completed re-installing win2k to a clean [new] folder... i used to be able to use Easy Cd Creator 5 platinum, before the re-install... now i can't ! The software keeps crashing when it starts... I have tried to install force aspi... it did not help ! I am using HP cd12ri, it's a new drive . Nero 5.5.4.0 does not support thr drive. It installed fine and started up but could not write properly ! The only software i managed to get to work was HP's silly Record Now package..

Please can you help me sort out Adaptec's Easy Cd 5 !

The problem is your burner, EZCD creator does not recognize 11 of the 12 cd12 series burners from HP, WinOnCD 3.8 works perfectly with this series of burners however, (and befor you try, Nero, Clone CD and CDRWin do not work with it either) Try and find WINOnCD 3.8 PE (Power Edition) and it will fix your problems. (The reason I know this is I had the exact same problem myself a week ago)
