  1. Hello,
Thanks in advance for any advice/guidance! Is there a tool that can easily tell one what kind of DVD VOB (PAL vs. NTSC) files one is working with? I've searched the forums extensively to no avail. Or does one have to get to the fps rate to tell. If so, is there a tool that can easily tell what fps one is dealing with?
Many thanks for any answer to my newbie question.

  2. There is. It's called DVD2AVI. If you load your VOB files in there and select "Preview" then it will display all the relevant information in the box that pops up.

Have a pen and paper handy!

  4. What's wrong with newbie questions?

I just found out just now that W2K has a built-in DVD player that plays VOB's from files on your hard drive. DOH!
