Device to save anywhere on Playstation 2?

Hello!

Does anyone know of a device that will let you save anywhere you want in the game on a Playstation 2? I was told the Gameshark would, but when I checked at EB they said it wouldn't.

are you talking about like a 'save state'?

if so, i dont think that is possible with the ps2. i think its only possible with emulators & some pc games.

Hey Jeex-

Yes, I think we are talking about the same thing. I am playing X2: Wolverine's Revenge and you can only save between levels and there are no check points in between levels to save. So far, much of the game is trial and error, so it is kinda annoying to have to restart the whole level. It is just a waste of time to me.

So, I was hoping there would be something that would allow me to save anywhere in the game and not just at the "Game Defined" save points.
