Why can't I use the fast forward and backwards ??

While the DVD-RW is playing I can't use neither of those 2 commands .. The only thing I can do to go backwards is to PAUSE and press "<<" but it doesn't work to well.. when I pause and try to press ">>" it says it can't do that ... Why is this ??

Could be the player is not 100% compatible with RW. I had the same problem with the first 20-30 +R and -Rs I burned. Then I tried some of them on a different player and they worked fine.

Could it be any other problem?.. BTW I'm using DVD-Lab..and I'm encoding the videos with Tmpeg 2.5.. Could it be the encoding process?

I have exactly the same problem, using dvd lab and encoded some tv episodes i got (they were in ntsc i think, and needed them in pal) using tmpgenc 2.5 AND i put it on dvd-rw to test it. We are in exact same position. I am going to try putting it on dvd-r soon and see if that helps...
