usually director's commentary will be labeled "director's commentary" in the audio track list.
Another thing you can do is, uncheck all the audio tracks except for the one you want to keep and preview the movie. The new dvdshrink (verson 3.1.xx) plays audio as well as video.
I usually like to keep my compression at 75%+. If the compression falls below 75%, I'll reauthor just the main movie. -
well for example jackass the movie has 1 5.1 audio track and 3 2channel tracks, how do i know which is comentary because none say if its commentary or not?
-
try previewing them?
do the 3 - 2 channels say english, spanish, french, etc? some dvd's list a bunch of audio tracks are dubbed in different languages. -
so basically just throw on all the video stuff that i want and it will play in a row without the menus?
-
yep.
you have 4 choices.
1. shrink the entire movie with all the menus, take out all the audio, subtitles, etc that you don't need.
2. use a dvd authoring program which allows you to create your own menus.
3. reauthor adding just the main movie and any of the extra footage, which will play without menus.
4. read guides on how to use ifoedit, to keep all menus, etc. -
I may be old fashioned, but the tried and true way is to actually put the disc in and play it. You'll get a firsthand account of what each track is without any mistakes. Just throwing that out since it seems to not be an option for some reason
