While setting up my new DVR from Comcast I find the following choices under the audio compression:
None
Light
Heavy
What is this?
I've got the box connected to my 5.1 receiver via fiber optic cable.
The box came with nothing but pamphlet about programming the remote...
It's a Pace TDC 575D.
Anybody know where I can find some info about what these settings are?
TIA!

I have something similar on my motorola dvr. I don't do anything with it. I think your safest bet is to leave it on NONE and forget about it.
