I tried to playback a pal svcd made with ulead video studio 7 but when i choose "pal output" on my dvd player I get a flickering image. I changed the display option to "ntsc" and it played fine. I am sure I made a pal svcd. Does anyone have a clue why this is happening? Is it possible that choosing ntsc can harm my tv (daewoo DTD 2595)? My tv displays an ntsc indication when i have the ntsc option on on the dvd player.
Pal DVDs play fine in both pal or ntsc output. Thanks.

The player says (in the operation manual as well as on the logo on the unit itself) that plays mp3 files. I tried to play mp3 files from both Data-CD(mp3) and Data-DVD(mp3). The disks are recognized with no problem, and the lists are read correctly. Titles and folders. It also reads folders and subfolders with no problem. But when you play the tracks(files) the player plays JUST the first 15seconds of each song!!! All songs, within folders or not, and on both disks (CD and/or DVD disks). Why?
As i see from the manual and the menus, there is no INTRO SCAN or INTRO PLAY feature. But the players plays them as if such a featured was turned on (enabled). I did not enable or even found such a feature whatsoever!!!
Why does the player play only the beginnings of the songs? (then it just STOPS!).
Has anyone else the same problem??? Do you play all your mp3s normally?pasalimanius
