  1. I have a panasonic dmr-e50 and I have tried to covert a divx video to dvd-r several times and each time I get an error message on my dvd player that says NO PLAY. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to convert a divx to play on my stand alone dvd player.
I am new to this, and when I search for ways to do this it seems very confusing to me.
    Please help.

    Thanks

  2. Have you even looked under Guides in the menu? There should be plenty of information there...

Here you got some guides to follow!

  3. I have looked at the tutorials, I just find them overwhelming, there are so many things that need to be done, I just don't know where to start and if you don't do just one thing right then the video won't play.
I have no idea what I am doing or why. :

  4. well, um, there's quite a few steps, you should probably say what you're doing, otherwise we can start at square one and say that your first problem is you need to turn the PC on

  5. I think I can manage to turn on the pc.
I am trying to turn a xvid video with audio into a video that I can burn to dvd-r and play in my panasonic dmr e-50 dvd player.
I have tried 4 times and I get the same error, NO PLAY.

  8. My video is xvid and the sound is ac3, how do I convert this to play on my dvd player. Do I need to do anything to the sound, isn't ac3 what you want it to be so that it will work on the dvd player?
