    i am converting the mp3 to wav to be used with tmpgenc but the wav file is 2 sec shorter than the original file what is wrong with it

    Do a test encode using your converted wav file and your video. Do they stay in sync? It may just be the nature of VBR MP3, it doesn't use a constant size, like WAV or CBR MP3.

    Is the audio out of sync constantly 2 seconds or is it gradually going out of sync?
