  1. I'm not that technically minded but when I try and play m2v's (SVCD) on PowerDVD or any other program I am getting this irritating dace square bouncing up and down the screen!

A message scrolls along the bottom while playing saying: "The dancing Elecard logo means that your evaluation period has expired. Please register your player. More info at http://www.moonlight.co.il"

When I go to the site there is nothing to register... I don't have an elecard and dunno why this has happened. I know that I recently installed a codec pack that aloud me to watch m2v's through media player... but just cannot stop the irritating square!!!!!

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this lil problem?

its pretty obvious that "codec pack" had the Elecard codec in it -- which is not freeware ...

so remove the mpeg2 codec from elcard and re-install power dvd ...

you can use DXMAN (freeware) to do this easy enough ...
