Could somone please help me in identifing the noise I am getting in my vhs signal (image is here:)
I am currently capturing from a Samsung DVD-V6700 to a Winfast PxDVR3200H via composite connections (my only option).
The noise is most noticable when there is a large amount of red on the screen (as in the attachment) but is often present at other times as well; however, is not on the tape itself. The example here is from a commercial video I am trying to convert but the noise also appears on home movies as well. I have tried using a cheap video stabiliser and other VCRs but this interference is always present.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
