  1. I got basic DVD copying down. Lets say I have a bunch of mpg or avi video clips. What is the best and easiest way to get these onto a DVD? I tried importing them to imovie but it wouldn't read. Same goes for iDVD and DVD Studio Pro. Can someone please let me know what I can do to make these into a DVD? Thanks.

I use Toast 6 for this. Drag in the movies regardless of type. Type in some titles. Click burn. Toast does the rest.

true, this is one way of doing this (for .avi)
takes some time though if you have a mpeg that is already spec vs doing it the way i have in my tutorial

if you get an error saying too large, just save as disk image for the dvd, mount it and have dvd2one process it

  5. Ok, say for example if have some TV episodes and arent made to be in 16x9 ratio. Will the output in Mpeg2 works demo make a difference?
