    You havent said what sort of processor you have.

    This is not exactly what you're asking, but pretty close: on a 667Mhz g4 converting a 700MB divx to SVCD (not VCD) takes about 14 hours.

    Converting to VCD is something similar, perhaps slightly quicker (only done it once, long time ago, dont remember exact time but we're talking overnight).

    "fast SVCD" and "fast VCD" are way faster in 0.0.9c.
