I'm following lordsmurfs settings guide to encoding .avi to mpeg2 on PAL 4:3. When I press start I get the message 'The sampling rate is not permitted with selected mpeg2-level'. Why am I getting this error and can someone tell me the settings which I need to change to overcome this. Thanks.

It sounds like it is probably referring to the audio. Make sure the audio is 48kHz or else it is not DVD compliant.
