I've downloaded several movies off the net using various file-sharing programs, their extension is AVI which I'm assuming means they are Divx (compressed), and they play fine with MediaPlayer since I have installed the latest divx codec (4.01). But, I have one 'recent' movie that I just cannot get to play. I have downloaded this same movie from 3 different sources, all in AVI (divx?) format yet none will play. No error, it just plays with blank video and audio. Is this most likely a different type of divx? I have the latest version that's been posted on http://www.divx.com which is 4.01 . Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
