  1. Is there a program (besides dvd studio pro because it will not take the .m2v) that can author a dvd with 2 .ac3 tracks and 1 .m2v file?

  2. If you don't need a menu, just use the mplex, vcdxgen, and vcdxbuild tabs in MMT.

just out of curiousity, what happens in dsp when you try to import? maybe try using bits in more missing mpeg tools, that works a lot of the time for me.

can sizzle handle multiple audio tracks?

  4. Tried using bits... didn't work... I multiplexed the files in mmt but when I select multi in vcdxgen... it won't let me add all 3 mpg's. Any ideas?

  5. The m2v and 2 ac3 files should be muxed with mplex by using add second audio.
When multi is set in vcdxgen, it is looking for a FOLDER containing one or more mpgs.

  6. Ok Everytime I go to vcdxgen and generate the dvd folder with the mpgs the terminal stops and says:
    Segmentation fault
    tocgen running

  7. Segmentation fault is most often caused by not having the correct mux format. Such as trying to create a vob from a mpeg muxed for svcd.
Make sure you multiplexed as dvd.

  8. Still isn't working. I am clicking all the right buttons... still says segmentation fault... have no idea way.

  9. anybody know what: tocgen running means?

  10. Ross, can I bother you for a list of the exact setting you use when you mplex and vcdxgen a movie with 2 audio streams with missingmpgtools.... for the love of god I can't get it to work no matter what.

  11. Well, I got it to work a couple or months ago when I adding the dvd feature to MMT.
But now....I can't....Sorry Maybe in the next release of dvdauthor.

  12. Found a solution... just incase anybody was wondering. Ran the .m2v file through PulldownX without changing any of the settings and DVD Studio Pro finally imported the file and was I able to create a VIDEO_TS folder that included 1 movie and 2 audio streams.

    Hope this helps anybody else.

  13. have you tried drag/drop your m2v into dvdsp? i found some files where greyed out when i went to import them, but they work fine if you just drag em in

  14. i got another prob...
i mux an m2v and two ac3 files with mplex
i rename the resulting movie.mpeg to movie.vob. it plays fine with vlc and both audiotracks show up and work.
Now i use the movie.mpeg (renamed it to movie.vob) to create a Video_ts folder with vcdxgen.

But the resulting vob file in the VIDEO_ts folder somehow has only one audiotrack!

    any help??

    thx!

  15. Sorry, made a big mistake that i gotta correct:
the reulting VIDEO_TS folder is fine as well. when i drag the vob file in it to VLC it plays and both audiotracks work

But when i import the video_ts folder in DVD2oneX to merge it with other Video_ts folder (i have 6 couple of friends episodes to fit on one dvd) only the first audiotrack is recognzied by DVD2OneX..

does anyone know about this bug? if its one...

    thx!!!

i havent heard of that before or seen it.

What you might want to do is send an e-mail to the authors of DVD2OneX with a link to this thread so that they can know exactly what you did to get your resulting VIDEO_TS folder. maybe it is a bug, but i cannot see how, unless DVDSP messed up the MPEG headers somehow....??

    Anyone else?

My guess the problem is with the .ifo files that vcdxgen is making for the VOBs, not properly listing all the audio tracks. I would suggest mastering your VIDEO_TS folder with something else, like Sizzle or ffmpegX or tocgen and ifogen or something from the VOBs instead.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

  18. no, the error must be somewhere in the .vob file because when i drop th evob into toast anf generate a dvdimage, only one audiostream shows up as well...
