Can you tell me what is the fastest way to add permanent subtitles to a movie already in VCD/SVCD (MPEG1/MPEG2)?
My dvd player doesnt support selectable subtitles in SVCD's so I have to put permanent subtitles in the MPEG file and burn it again.
Thanks
Pedro

I've tried that, but there's a problem:
my video is in MPEG-2 and when i open it with VirtualDub it says: "No video frames found in MPEG file".
Does this works only for MPEG-1?
If so, how can I convert MPEG-2 to MPEG-1?
Thanks -
im a bit of a noob but i think you need to get this verison VirtualDub-MPEG2-AC3(not sure where i got it from)... if it dont work u might have to convert the mpeg to avi then frameserve
best of luck -
TRY VIRTUALDUBMOD it allows mpeg2 as input .. it seems fairly reasonable to use .. not used it for subtitles myself.
