I have had to restore my PC back to factory settings after a power cut messed my pc up! As i lost everything i have had to download my programs again,
I have downloaded the newest version of DVD decryptor and it is ripping at a very slow speed. It used to rip at about x 2.1 but now this new version is only going at a speed of x 1.5. My dvds that were ripping ina bout 15/20mins are now taking over half an hour.
Any ideas what the problem might be or are there any setting si need to know about?
thanks

I've installed the latest DVD Decrypter (3190) and have seen no change in ripping speeds, program works the same as previous versions.
Have you checked all your basic OS settings, DMA, chipset drivers etc.?
XP Pro, sp1 -
After checking all the setting si have found that the DVD writer was set to PIO instead of DMA.
All works fine now.
