hi i am not any good at all with things like frame rates, muxing demuxing and all that sort of thing, i just find all that really daunting and confusing. basically i have a 700mb divx file, which i would like to be able to play on my standalone dvd player. i want to convert it either to mpeg or bin/cue file so i can have a vcd or svcd of it. i gues svcd would make it split on 3 discs cos the actual file lasts 1 hour 50 mins. anyway, i could convert to dvd also but i want to keep as much quality of the origional divx file as i can cos at the moment its good quality.
i want to know has anybody used a program that converts divx to vcd/svcd or dvd really easily. buy easily i mean it it doesnt have to go through too many stages of conversion and too many programs?
or would i be better off connecting my tv out socket from my graphics card straight into my standalone dvd recorder and playing the file through to the recorder to record on dvd? will that work?
what do you think? any program recommendations?
