Any feedback regarding TDK DVD+R disks... have had trouble in the past authoring to these disks and am wondering if anyone else has? When authoring a disk of home videos and such with Adobe Encore, the TDK +R disk would fail, but had no trouble with a Sony +R? However, when the TDK failed I was trying to burn at 4x (TDK is 4x compatible), but when I did the Sony, I reduced to 2x. So is burn speed the problem or the type of disk I'm using.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I also have a HP300i and have burned about 30 TDK DVD+R disks and had 1 fail. I only use Nero to burn and always at 4x.

I have burned a couple of TDK 4x +R disks on a Plextor PX-708A. They will not play on a Panasonic house DVD player. I am having others check them on their players.
No issues burning them and they play on the computer. -
I use TDK+R's in Plextor 708A. Burns at 8x. No problems with play back in my Sony SACD/DVD standalone. Also no reported problems with VHS to DVD transfers I've done for others that I've used TDK +R's for.
