Hey all right now I got 1 video in my project. And in my scene selection I have 4 small clips of the video all starting at different time but all using the same asset. Do I need to make seperate assets or can I just use this one big file? It's compiling but taking a hell of a long time to Render the menu? I have 3 of these type of menu's. Any suggestions?

When I make motion menus, I always take the clips I want to use as motion menu buttons, save them to QT format, composite them together onto a background image with text in the configuration I want for the menu using QT Pro or FCP, and then export the motion menu sequence as an MPEG2 movie. I then make button overlay masks in photoshop where the button highlights will be. I've described this in more detail in other threads a while ago, so a forum search will turn up more info.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."
