  1. I just bought the MSI TV @anywhere Master capure card and I can safely say that I like it a lot. I am having one problem with it though. Virtual Dub does not want to recognise the card. I go "File -> Capture VAI" and i get "error 418: Capture device was not detected". I click OK and VD tries all drivers. I click OK again. A "PANIC: VirtualDub can not connect to any capture drivers!" error pops up and VD gives up.

Anybody here ever run it this problem or know how to fix it. The capture card works fine with Virtual VCR but I want more options and VD gives me that. Please help.

  2. I had the regular MSI TV @anywhere card and found it also did NOT work with vertual dub either.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

  4. i think the card comes with WDM drivers.
virtualdub will not work with cards that have WDM drivers UNLESS
you install a wrapper (i think thats the name anyway).

you need to use a program that can work with WDM drivers
iuvcr can do it (you can use it for 30 days) and there is a free tool
    named VirtualVCR.
i use iuvcr and its grate.
    hope this helps.

I have recently purchased a 'MSI TV@nywhere Master' card,im having a few problems with it though.

How did you get the WDM capture driver to work? Mine keeps appearing with an exclamation mark on it and coming up with a 'code 10' error.I have tried everything but it still doesnt work.

Do you know how to fix this?

  7. Try downloading the drivers from MSI website and use a WDM compatible software, like VirtualVCR.
