Divx AVI wont burn?

Everytime I try to burn a Divx PAL AVI, it wont burn to DVD! It says that the CD is full but I know that the file is not even close to being 4.7Gig's....
Anyone know how to solve this problem?
**NOTE I am using Sonic MYDVD.

Do you have PAL selected in your Preferences?

Is Sonic re-encoding the .avi file? If so, then Sonic MyDVD is more than likely the problem here. I had the same issues when importing MPEG files. It automatically re-encodes imported video to 8 Mbs if it's not already DVD compliant.

It could be something else, but this would be my first guess since I had the same issue. I no longer use MyDVD. TMPGEnc ,TMPGEnc DVD Author, and Nero Burn are worth every penny you pay for them. With those and freeware programs, you can do just about anything.

Is that a typo, or are you trying to burn a DVD onto a CD-(R)W?
