    Hello all!

    I know most of you hate this sort of question, but I go to the store and see a sea of players and I try to make a choice, although making that choice has become quite complicated.

    All I want is a good all around player with suberb progressive scanning quality and good burned DVD compatibility, as I am also looking at a HDTV as well. My Toshiba SD-2800 has served me well for over 2 years, but now locks up with burned media.

    I was looking at a player with DVI output such as the Samsung HD931, but then the whole HDCP compatibility thing slaps me in the face.

    If some of the people here at DVDRhelp would just tell me what I should look for, or give some advice, I would greatly appreciate it ( just give a model # PLEASE...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...PLEASE!).

    Just go to Walmart and get a Pioneer DV 260 for $75. Works for me. Progressive scan works on my Hatichi digital wide screen too.

    I sugget a 5 disk player. That way when you have multiple disks, you won't have to get up to change to the next.
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

    NO buy a yamada dvx6100 it is future proof cheap and mpeg4 compatible
